You always hear this when the subway or train stops. "Watch you steps when you go out." You never really think about it that you really have to watch your steps, or we all know that because there is a gap between the train and the platform.
Well, my little girl surprise me with a different response when she heard "watch your steps" after the train stops.
So, we arrived at our destination and the train is stopping. The engineer annouced that usual phrase again, "please watch your step when you go out." Autumn looked at us and asked, "WHY? Why do we have to watch our steps?"
