Really like to read novel that wrote by authors with diverse backgrounds. The writing just enriched the reading experience. This novel is about a Iranian-American young adult, dropped out of college, went home to live with her parents. Her mom is European-American, and her dad is Iranian-American. The life of this young lady was interesting and the author had her way of putting it in a funny way.

I always think about Kyle and Autumn and wonder what they would think about when they saw their parents. We don't speak good English, very much traditional, and when they turn around and look at their friends, it is just so different.

At what point they will think that their parents are strange? And at what point they will think that it is totally okay to have parents like that and that can only make their life more diverse and facinating.
