we got a flat tire. First time since we started to drive a car. It was in the middle of a highway, on the way back to our offices, after a nice lunch near the airport...
So, we had to pull over to the shoulder for the emergency parking. First, we saw a guy, who stood at the shoulder waved at us. So, Lee walked to him and they had a little talk. I asked Lee what he said to Lee after Lee walked back to me. Lee said that guy has called the police because it is too dangerous to change the tire at the shoulder. At least the police could give an alert to the cars and slowed them down.
Then, we saw a blue van pulled over, a guy came out, walked to Lee and asked what the problem was and if he could help. Lee said it was a flat tire and he could handle it himself. So, the guy drove away.
Those two guys were totally stangers to us. I am so touched that they would stop and offered their help to us. We didn't need it, but the way that they took time to ask and showed us their care really touched my heart.
May God blessed their hearts. People like these really make this world a good place to live!
